Huawei dominated China in Q3 2018 while Apple led in terms of revenue

Last week, Apple openly blamed its weaker-than-expected Q4 2018 performance on poor iPhone sales in China. But according to a new report, the Cupertino giant performed extremely well in the market during the previous quarter, at least in terms of revenue.

Throughout the third quarter of 2018, smartphone sales in China generated a total of $30.7 billion in revenue. From this, it’s claimed that iPhone purchases accounted for around 23%, or just over $7 billion. This was followed closely by Huawei in second place with a 22% share.
